  • 1 large egg (for ricotta mixture)
  • 1-2 sheets Cut Da Carb Flatbread (or other large, pliable low-carb flatbread/tortilla)
  • 7-14 slices provolone cheese (or enough to cover flatbread, cut in half if needed)
  • 1-2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
  • 1 large egg, beaten (for egg wash/sealing, optional)
  • Optional: Fresh parsley or basil for garnish

  • Medium mixing bowl

Instructions:

  5. Slice & Arrange: Using a sharp knife, cut each rolled flatbread log into 7 equal pieces (or desired thickness for your pan).
    • Stand each roll-up on its cut side in a prepared 9-inch springform pan (or similar round baking dish), arranging them in a circular pattern until the pan is full. They should fit snugly.
  6. Top & Bake: Once the pan is full, spoon any remaining marinara sauce over the top of the roll-ups.
    • Sprinkle generously with the remaining shredded mozzarella cheese.
    • Bake in the preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the rolls are heated through. If desired, broil for 1-2 minutes at the end for a golden brown top (watch carefully!).
